Pygora Goats

Pygora goats where the first animals we welcomed to our farm. They are sweet and stubborn and so beautiful. Our plan was to use their fiber for spinning and crafting. However, as our kids have grown, we have come to the realization that we don't have time for it. So, we are going to be finding homes for most of our Pygoras.
If you are new to Pygora goats, they are a breed of goat that was developed in the 1980s in the United States. They are a cross between Pygmy goats, which are known for their small size and friendly dispositions, and Angora goats, which are prized for their long, soft, and lustrous fiber. As a result, Pygora goats are a unique blend of these two breeds, combining the best qualities of both.
One of their main features, and the reason we fell in love with them, is their beautiful, soft fiber. The fiber comes in three different types: cashmere-like, mohair-like, and a combination of the two. We usually have at least one of each type.
